The PEC 8850 was recognised as an industry leading solution with extensive installations in South Africa spanning 20 years with customers such as BP, Shell, Chevron and Total. Fueltorque developed software systems for the 8850. The software developed was called Prism and worked on the OS/2 platform. Prism enabled advancements such as integrated email within fuel retail management systems on OS/2 and increased Head Office/Back Office functionality.
